My name is Tim Evans. When I set up my first workshop, it was just a few low-cost benchtop tools and a spare room in my basement. My first "real" project was a mission style chair, quickly followed by a pair of adirondak chairs, a wine rack and a quilt rack.
Eventually my workshop took over my entire two-car garage and my tools increased in quantity and greatly improved in quality. I got interested in lathe turning and began making pens and learned to turn bowls. Recently I've begun working with CNC carving and laser engraving, which has expanded my craft quite a bit.
I still enjoy working on a variety of wood crafts from large pieces of furniture all the way to small, decorative projects, such as candle holders. It doesn't really matter what I'm working on, just being in the workshop making sawdust is my most satisfying pastime.
